  • The Rev. Joseph M.C. Chambers - Rector

    Joe is the 30th rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Danville, KY. Joe is a native of St. Louis, MO, and attended Seminary in New York City along with his wife, Amy. After Seminary, Joe served as the Episcopal Chaplain at the University of Missouri, Columbia, followed by an appointment as Chaplain of the Rockwell House at Washington University in St. Louis. He served as Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of Missouri for five years, and most recently, he served as the Chief of Staff for the Diocese of Texas. Joe's wife, The Rev. Canon Amy Chambers Cortright, serves as Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of Lexington. Joe and Amy have two children - Day and Molly. 

  • The Rev. Deacon Mark Richard

    Hailing from central Kentucky, Deacon Mark was ordained in 2018 and previously served at Grace Episcopal Church in Hopkinsville, KY, where his ministry focused on mission work and pastoral care. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration - finance from Transylvania University and master’s degree in theology from The School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He has worked in the non-profit field for 24 years. He currently lives in Lawrenceburg and is the Controller for Century Bank of Kentucky.

  • Dr. Cully Bell - Director of Music & Organist

    Cully has been Trinity’s Organist since 2022 and Music Director since 2023. He most recently served at the First Christian Church, Georgetown, where he was the Director of Music Ministry. He earned his Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Kentucky, and his Master of Music and Doctor of Music Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati. He has been on faculty at the Music Department of Eastern Kentucky University since 2016.

  • Jennifer Earle - Director of Finance

    Jennifer has been with Trinity since 2016 serving as Director of Finance. Jennifer is not only an Accountant; she has worked for various non-profits for over 27 years throughout the world. She is currently the Executive Director of Grace Café in Danville, KY, and recently launched the new Grace on the Go food truck! She also sits on the Board of Directors of One World Everybody Eats, where she continues to passionately address the global issue of food insecurity and hunger. She has three children - Kiah, Jacob, and Kaiden.

  • Jamie Pelfrey - Office Assistant

    Jamie has been with Trinity since 2022. She hails from North Carolina but has been a Kentuckian for 20 years. She studied Theology at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas and Congregational Care at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. She has served in various ministry positions in the years since seminary. She recently returned to school at Chicago Theological Seminary. Jamie’s husband, Michael Pelfrey, works at the University of Kentucky. They have two sons - Benjamin and Micah.

  • Melanie Yankey - Seminarian

    Melanie Yankey has been the Administrative Assistant for the Diocese of Lexington for nearly 8 years. She is serving Trinity this spring for her seminary internship.
